in the set of four images.. the bottom left image from 06 shows with his back arched further back, enabling him to have more external rotation as opposed to the 08 image. when the arm has the same amount of time to go a longer distance, the arm will travel faster, right? One could say this appears to happen because of the timing each image was taken, but when you watch the slow motion video below the images you can see his arm does not externally rotate as well as the 06 image. Also, like others have mentioned, his legs aren't doing as much work. He injured his hamstring and the body will unconsciously compensate or protect itself without the person even knowing. This happened to my arm after i had shoulder surgery. this what i see at least.

I am wondering what your opinion is of Nick Noonan. To me he looks and plays like a future all star. He seems to be the type that bleeds baseball and is as close to a lock as there is out there. I see him as a .300/20/80 guy. What are your thoughts on him?

Thanks

Contact the teams, as most of them have semi-regular open tryouts, and come draft time, most of them have a semi-open draft workout you might be able to get into. And the Indy Leagues are just one huge tryout that all teams monitor, I can assure you. Other than the HS showcases, the tryout camps are tough to keep tabs on, as they aren't very publicized.

The way he is pulling his head down when he releases looks like the right handed version of Okijima. In every comparison of 2006 and 2008 his shoulders, hips, arms and legs appear appear a little bit higher in 2008.

In the second comparison his shoulders just don't look as relaxed in 2008, his hips are more vertical to his body, and there is less bend at the knee.

Very interesting article, thanks.
