Bryan,
I wasn't aware the Braves did that, had never heard it before. Never really thought about this, but I like the idea of scouting it by league as for comparison at one level purposes and saving on travel expenses to keep certain scouts in certain areas.

JB,
Tillman certainly can be that top 10 guy. Not sure what our policy on mechanical analyses will be in the future, but we're going to steer clear of most guys, given the proliferation of that on the internet, unless it's a super high-profile guy people haven't seen (Aaron Crow) or a guy with a problem to be solved (Kei Igawa). But Tillman may well fall into the super high profile category soon, so we'll see.

Mike R,
Thanks. That stacked Low-A Charleston squad is a story this year for the Yankees. Talked to an Yankee exec yesterday that said they will probably have to be broken up given that it's prospect central and the performances have been outstanding thus far. And that means they'll come to roughly 15 minutes from my house here in Tampa, so Snyder will get a shout when that day comes for sure. I liked the look I got of Snyder in instructs. And no, no idea Yankee fans when who will get called up when.

oregongal and jscape2000,
You're welcome and we're glad you're here too.

This is easily one of the top baseball sites out there. Congrats guys.

Do you think you could ever do a piece on Justin Snyder? I am a big fan and don't understand why he doesn't get more attention.

Thanks again for the site.

Chris Tillman can be a top-10 talent? Will you all do a mechanics analysis on him and the other potential prospect chart climbers?

I forgot to ask this question so I hope you will answer it.

When scouting the minors, are you more in favor of scouting every level of an organization like the Braves do, or scout each team in a league, or scout by geography?

Thanks

I have to say guys, the combination of quality and quantity on this site is staggering. Every day I open the page and see at least one new post filled with information. This has quickly become my favorite source of anything scouting-related. Keep up the good work.
